Warning! to the new road system and the LTZ area of Moena
To the Dear Guests,
please pay attention to the following traffic rules that you will find at the entrance to Moena:
The reservation allows you to enter Moena only from the southern intersection: coming from the south (motorway – Loewy Road) and coming from the S. Pellegrino Pass (Strada de Sèn Pelegrin).
While for the entrance from the North (Strada de Cernadoi) there is a ban on entry (from Canazei). The viability is controlled by cameras with optical reading of the plates and the violation is sanctioned with an automatic fine sent to your home. In this case, just follow the signs for Moena center and enter the entrance from Passo San Pellegrino
We also point out that from the exit of the A22 Autostrada del Brennero Egna / Ora motorway, in the direction of Val di Fiemme and Fassa, mobile radars are often positioned to survey speed, particularly in the vicinity of the settlements.
On the train
For those traveling by TRAIN (train timetable)
For those who intend to reach Val di Fassa by train, there are three railway stations of reference: Trento, Ora and Bolzano. We recommend arriving at the Trento station as it is served by direct bus connections.
Going down to Trento you have to take a bus of the Atesina bus line that makes the direct connection with Moena (about 90 km and an hour and a half journey). The bus station is next to the train station. It is advisable to get off at the Trento station, because the connections are more comfortable and frequent. (For bus timetables from Trento click here).
Going down to Ora you must continue to the Val di Fassa with a bus of the SAD bus (square in front of the station) to Predazzo from where you continue to the Val di Fassa with a bus of the Atesina bus line (about 44 km).
Please note that connections are not easy.
Going down to Bolzano you must continue with a bus of the SAD bus line through Passo Carezza (about 49 Km). In this way the municipality of Moena is not directly accessible. The nearest stop is Vigo di Fassa at 6 Km. The SAD bus stop is in front of the Bolzano Train Station, or the bus station is about 100 m. from it (on the left). (For bus timetables from Bolzano click here).
